About Holly Rollosson
Holly has been teaching private piano lessons for 25 years, in both King and Pierce Counties, and in New Orleans, where she taught at Hall Piano Company, Louisiana’s exclusive Steinway dealership. She also spent several years teaching at Beverly Park Music Academy in Seattle, a nonprofit institute that focused on group piano classes on digital keyboards.
Holly believes in guiding a student’s musical education in a positive and fun environment, and specializes in gearing the teaching method and music selection to a person’s learning style and personal tastes. She also understands the importance of involving parents in their children's musical education, and coaches them on how to assist with musical growth at home. Her fervent belief is that with the encouragement of teacher and parent, a child’s (or adult’s!) life can be immeasurably enriched by learning to play music they love, and gaining a skill they will enjoy for the rest of their life.
Holly has served as a keyboardist for churches for over 25 years, and receives a great amount of joy from sacred music and training other church musicians.
She currently teaches at her studio in Tacoma, WA.
